F-11: Players who qualified and were eligible for the season-ending 2024 Tour Championship
The 2016 U.S. Amateur quarterfinalist and former three-time Pepperdine All-American booked his fifth U.S. Open berth by being among the 30 players to qualify for the 2024 season-ending Tour Championship. Theegala, the 2020 Jack Nicklaus Award winner for being the nation's best collegian, was the 2017 co-West Coast Conference Player of the Year. Before turning professional, he Monday qualified for the 2017 Genesis Open at Riviera Country Club and made the cut, finishing tied for 49th. He lost to eventual champion Curtis Luck in the 2016 U.S. Amateur at Oakland Hills Country Club. In his first PGA Tour start as a pro, he tied for 14th in the 2022 Safeway Open. He teamed with Tom Hoge to win the unofficial QBE Shootout in Florida in November. 2022. He represented the USA in the 2018 Palmer Cup while at Pepperdine. Theegala collected his first official PGA Tour win at the 2023 Fortinet Championship by two strokes over S.H. Kim. He represented the United States on the victorious 2024 Presidents Cup Team.
