Pavon qualified for his fifth U.S. Open by finishing solo fifth in the 2024 U.S. Open at Pinehurst. He also was among the 30 players to qualify for the PGA Tour's season-ending Tour Championship. The Frenchmen broke through for his first PGA Tour win by edging fellow European Nicolai Hojgaard by one stroke at the 2024 Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. That gave him six worldwide victories, including the 2023 Acciona Open de Espana on the DP World Tour. Pavon also competed on the European Challenge Tour before gaining his DP World Tour card in 2017. Pavon's father, Michael, is a former French professional soccer player.
