F-11: Players who qualified and were eligible for the season-ending 2024 Tour Championship
The six-time PGA Tour winner will be making his eighth U.S. Open start. Kirk opened the 2024 season by winning The Sentry at Kapalua in Maui. This came after he won the 2023 Honda Classic in a playoff over Eric Cole for his first PGA Tour triumph since the 2015 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. His first PGA Tour victory was the 2011 Viking Classic. He also owns a trio of wins on the Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour). Kirk finished second in the 2014 FedEx Cup playoffs and reached as high as No. 16 in the world during the 2015 season. Kirk was a member of the 2005 University of Georgia national championship team., and he represented the USA in the 2006 World Amateur Team Championship and 2007 Walker Cup. As a senior, he won the 2007 Ben Hogan Award for being the top amateur golfer. He also was a member of the 2006 and 2007 U.S. Palmer Cup Teams. He was a member of the victorious 2015 U.S. Presidents Cup Team.
